Trust is something i want and need to have in a relationship, my current boyfriend dated his ex for 7 months, and they couldnt trust each other at all, and i saw what he was like. Me and him have a completly trust worthy relationship, and we can say anything without being embarassed or guilty of something.

I think one of the most important things in a relationship is understanding. I’m not sure if you have ever read “The Education of Little Tree,” but one of the things they say in the book is that to be in love is to understand that person. Understanding can lead to passion, and other important things.

Well, perhaps become friends first. Some harmless hooking up at a party, event, or whatever would probably help the cause too.
However, I don’t think there’s any better way to approach it then just to ask. The guy could easily get the wrong impression and think you want something more, hence making him believe you mislead him.

well you really didnt specify if its in a bad way or good way or how but what you could do is:
try talking to your mom like sit her down and be serious and try not to get her feelings hurt or let her guilt you into anything, if your mom really truely loves and respects you tell her how you feel and that she should stop because its your decisions and life and you hav to stick to what your saying, stand your ground in a polite firm way. Let your mom know what shes doing. wish i could help more

Well, even though she is your mother, if this is the girl you want to marry, then you should to do whatever it takes to be with her.And let her know that your willing to do that. but, always remember that you mom, is your mom. So let her know that you love her and value her care and concern, but this is something you have to do on your own. In the end my advise is to get your girl, and know that your mom will come around.
